We proposed the Link Quality based Geographic Routing (LQGR) for increasing the performance and reliability of geographic routing in IoT environment with limited resource. LQGR selects its next forwarding candidate node by considering link quality, location error and velocity of node.
We evaluate performance of LQGR with two other mechanisms through NS-3 simulator and the result shows that LQGR has the higher packet delivery ratio and lower retransmission number than others.
